Is there a way to determine the story force in STAAD when doing a modal analysis with semi-rigid diaphragms being included in the model? Typically for a static analysis I would take the shear forces in the walls above/below the story using the 'results along line' tool with the difference being the story force. However, in a modal analysis we lose the signs so I don't think it's possible to use this approach. Is there another way within STAAD to determine the story force?
