There is no problem with sectional properties. In one case it is Iy, Iz and in another case it is Ix, Iy. Both are the same with only difference in name.If the columns are oriented correctly in both the cases there will be no diffrence in analysis result. It is a bit difficult to orient and needs several trials or exact mathematical calculation to determine the CG of the section and orient in such a manner that beam falls on the leg of L section. Some other softwares have the facility to define L section but how far that is correct can be known only after comparing the results of the two.
