Currently working with Revit 2014, RAM SS Ver. 14-06-01 and using ISM V8i (SELECTseries 4).
I started a model in Revit that has an expansion joint. In order to analyze the two structures independently, I exported two ISM Repositories, one for Building "A" and one for Building "B", even though they are a single building. Once RAM exports back to the appropriate Repository, such as Building "A" to Repository "A". However, when I update the Revit model from Repository "A", it deletes Building "B" in the Revit model. Is there a solution to this? Again, this is a single building with an expansion joint, thus analyzed as two separate buildings.
Additional info: I did select only the appropriate portions to export to the appropriate Repository, so it's not as if the members are being deleted in RAM. They were never imported into RAM.
Also, I noticed that it appears the ISM wanted to delete all the members and replace them, even if the size had not changed. This is true of everything: columns, beams, levels, slabs, grids, etc. Is this normal or could this be a mapping issue when setting up the ISM Repository originally?
