STAAD - footfall induced vibration - pedestrian walkway assessment.

Hi,

I need to check whether vibration performance od a pedestrian walkway is acceptable. I know how to calculate frequency using STAAD Pro but I am also looking to calculate Floor Response Factor R (BS 6472) which for my structure, accordingly to Steel Construction Institute (SCI-UK) guidance, should be less than 4.

As vibration analysis is new to me I would appreciate a worked example.
