I have attended the latest online seminar for staadpro hosted by Mr. Kris Sathia and he did the overview of what the software can do including its new features. One of them that he mentioned is the used of reference load, he did mention specifically that you can create a reference mass using reference load only once and that can be used for the static mass and dynamic mass definition. I did ask some clarification about this statement during the Q & A portion but unfortunately this was not answered due to time constraint.
So, I am posting again my question here hoping Mr. Kris would clarify my query, How does staadpro actually create a reference mass only once that can be used in static and dynamic mass definition if in the static mass definition you only need to consider the global Y direction whereas for the dynamic mass definition you need to consider the global X, Y and Z direction? In my understanding you still need to create two reference masses one for static and one for dynamic.
Hope Mr. Kris will clarify this. Thanks in advance
