I am working on an open stage canopy structure and wondering how best to apply roof loads. The roof structure is going to be polycarbonate panels so there is no real diaphragm action. The panels will sit on steel purlins that run from front to back of the structure so there isn't really any two-way action. The roof is pitched so the wind loading needs to be applied in the local direction not the global y direction so I can't really create floor groups and use floor loading. I need to apply dead, live and wind loading. I have used plates and the ignore stiffness command but when I check the moment and shear diagrams for some of the supporting members it shows 0. I have attached my file for review. I don't think the load is being distributed correctly. Can someone please point out what I might be doing wrong.
