I must go through the link you have posted and verify your claims in detail, then only I will revert back to you.
But I very strongly feel and I am sure that the flow chart of Staad-Pro Design implementation is flawed ..!!
Let me explain this in following single statement:
1. IS:800 2007 vide clause 3.7.3 excludes the "Slender compression Elements" from the scope of this standard. Meaning we cannot have "Slender element Designed" and passed in results. But the results do not say that explicitly to designer, now he may be young or seasoned..!! But if he is inexperienced he looks at the results and says that design is ok. Now should Staad Pro Implementation not be done on this basic line?
I will stop here and wait for your views and then proceed to second point.
