RE: What's the difference between "pressure on full plate" and "hydrostatic" on plate loads?

You would use pressure on full plate when the pressure loading is constant over the area of application. This is generally used for applying vertical pressure loading on floors/roofs etc. Hydrostatic load on the other hand would represent a triangular variation of pressure ( example lateral water pressure or lateral earth pressure on walls ) or a trapezoidal variation of pressure ( lateral pressure due to earth or water with a surcharge value at top for example ) . Go to General > Load & Definition > Load Case Details > Select a load case and click on Add to get a list of load items, within which these options would show up under Plate Loads
