The shear yielding demand is based on Equation 3.12 in AISC Design Guide 4 and is half of the flange force. The flange force is calculated as Mu/(d – tf) +/- P/2.

The flexural yielding check is based on Design Guide 16. These checks are for moment end plate connections (no axial force). In this case, the program calculates an equivalent end moment using the axial force and moment demand. The demand in your model is the tensile flange force multiplied by (d – tf).
