RE: Plate creating problem using in-fill option

I got the same problem. I thought that your model got some mistakes like a  difference of X,Y or Z coordinate, but my thought was worng. I think this a mistake from auto-calculation of staad pro's in-fill plate function.

My suggestion is you should make a simple box with 4 long beams then using in-fill-plate them. After that you can use mesh function to get your FE model.
